Where is the Red Lion
Pinwall?
Pinwall is situated in the heart of the
English countryside, but is only thirty minutes’ drive from Birmingham or Coventry. The closest town is Atherstone, only one
mile away and Polesworth, which is mentioned in the doomsday book, is about four miles northwest. If you
need to ask directions Pinwall is pronounced "Pin'ull".

From the North
(M1)
From the M1 south bound
take the A42 at junction 23A towards Birmingham. After 11 miles turn off and take the B5006/B4116 towards
Measham/Snarestone. Take the first exit on the roundabout B5006 and after 0.3 miles turn left onto the B4116.
Follow the B4116 for 9.8 miles. You will see the Red Lion on your left.
From Birmingham
(M42)
From Birmingham take the
M42. At junction 10 turn off the motorway and take the A5 towards Nuneaton (4th exit on the roundabout) for 3.9
miles and then turn off onto the B4116. Follow the B4116 for 1.2 miles. The Red Lion will be on your
right.
From London
(M1)
From the M1 north bound
take the A5. At junction 18 turn off the motorway and take the A5 towards Hinckley/Rugby for 24.5 miles and then
turn off onto the B4116 (third exit on the roundabout). Follow the B4116 for 1.2 miles. The Red Lion will be on
your right.
