Welcome to the Red Lion Bar

The Red Lion has a warm and cosy bar area which is heated by a wood burner and an open fire.  Take a seat in one of the bay windows to watch the world pass by or have a gentle game of bar billiards while listening to the soft background music.

The Red Lion takes pride in the service of its cask conditioned hand pulled beers and is proud to have the Cask Marque accreditation. 

We have four regular cask conditioned beers and one rotating guest ale. Our permanent four are:

Timothy Taylor Landlord – full drinking, strong pale ale with a complex hoppy aroma 4.3%

Black Sheep Best Bitter – a light golden session bitter, with a distinctive dry refreshing taste 3.8%

Bass Ale – a complex, nutty, malty taste with subtle hop undertones 4.4%

  Ansells Mild – dark brown and creamy with a 

sweet malt chocolaty taste 3.2%
